New Life

my new sleeping partner

Today I had my crash course on how to use my new CPAP machine. And here it is in all of it’s glory. It is surprisingly quiet. Needless to say, I’m looking forward to going to sleep tonight — I am ready to start sleeping a whole night through. I am hoping it is not going to take me forever to get used to this.

See all my pretty meds up on my nightstand too? *sigh* I’m quite the expensive date! LOL

Now I have anxiety about buying school supplies. I know everything is going to be ok, but…. oddly enough I don’t like spending money.

Speaking of anxiety… I picked up a new book at the library:MONKEY MIND: A Memoir of Anxiety by Daniel Smith. So far it is a decent read. I just wish my library had a larger Mental Health selection. But hey, if you have Alzheimer’s, my library is the place to go! Oy!

Over the past few days I have picked up some new colors of nail polish, and I finally received the pins in the mail that I need to start on a rosary, and I am excited to work with my new beads! But I have been so busy, I haven’t had time to do anything. I am hoping for some downtime tomorrow; I am taking my youngest to go spend the night at a friends house and I will pick her up Saturday around noon.

Life is decent at the moment.

    1. Sounds crazy, but when the resp. therapist was training me on how to use the machine, I swear I felt ready to take a nap when I was breathing in! I even tried the mask on when I got home and laid in bed to see if I would be comfortable. Luckily I sleep on my side. I am super excited about this!
